The month of November is National Adoption Month. There are over 1 million orphans worldwide and many are available for and waiting anxiously to be adopted by a loving family. Could that be you? Do you have room for one more? Perhaps your friends or family members have adopted and you’re interested in learning more about the actual adoption process and what happens when the new additions come home. Whatever your interest in adoption, we’re going to touch on a few hot topics to help open your eyes.
Please join us for a journey into adoption. You’ll hear from a birthmom, adoptive moms and an adoptee. You’ll take a peek into domestic adoption, international adoption and adoption from foster care and we’ll get some advice from veteran adoptive moms on the best way to interact with and help their families. We’ll introduce you to some great resources for adoption fundraising and we’ll point you to some adoption blogs to offer moral support for those going through the trenches.
