Looking for something to serve for Cinco de Mayo? How about a spicy salsa and a cool, refreshing drink to wash it down with?
Red Sangria Two Ways: For adults and children!

Ingredients:
• 3 1/4 c dry red wine
• 1/4 c brandy
• 1/4 c orange liqueur (I used Grand Marnier)
• 2 tbsp sugar
• 2 sliced oranges
• 1 sliced green apple
• 1 1/2 c seltzer
Directions:
Mix the wine, liqueur and sugar in a pitcher, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Add the fruit.
Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
Add the seltzer just before serving.
Enjoy!
Kid-Friendly Version
Ingredients:
• 3 1/2 c cranberry and grape juice
• 1/4 c orange juice
• 2 sliced oranges
• 1 sliced green apple
• 1 1/2 c seltzer
Directions:
Mix the cranberry and grape juice and the orange juice in a pitcher. Add the fruit.
Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
Add the seltzer just before serving.
Enjoy!
Coffee-Infused Medium Salsa

Ingredients:
• 3 large tomatoes, diced (when out of season, 14.5 oz can of whole peeled tomatoes may be substituted)
• 1/4 c onion, chopped
• 1 green chili, minced
• 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
• 2 tbsp coffee
• 1 clove garlic, minced
• 1/4 c corn
• 1/4 black beans, drained and rinsed
• Zest of 1 lime
• 1 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
• 1 tsp hot sauce (I use Frank's)
• 1 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions:
Combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl.
Allow to chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving. Serve with tortilla chips.
