Easy Lemon Iced Tea

This is an easy "go to" iced tea recipe that you can make a staple during the hot summer months.  Nothing is as refreshing & says S-U-M-M-E-R as home brewed iced tea!

  • 8 cups of boiling water
  • 3 tea bags (use decaf when you want to share with your younger kids)
  • 1/4 cup - 3/4 cup sugar (or honey) - depending on how sweet you like it
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice

1.  Add teabags & sugar to  hot water.  Let sit for 1 hour.
(in pot or pitcher that can handle the hot water -
be careful with glass & we don't recommend plastic because of leaching)
CAUTION: Keep hot water away from kid's reach
2.   Add sugar (or honey) to steeping tea
3.   After teabags are done steeping, stir in lemon juice & refrigerate
4.  Optional: Add some lemon slices
