Please stop by Marci's Garden etsy shop and check out her other handmade products.
Marci is a nurse in Orange County and Flo is a teacher in Ventura County. Together they started Marci’s Garden.
Marci came up with the idea for the Recycl-a-bag when she was recycling her cans and bottles. After recycling 5 bags full, she found herself throwing away the black plastic trash bags she carried them in. That just didn’t seem right and led to her first Recycl-a-bag for her recycle can.
Flo came onboard with her cousin Marci because they are both trying to be more “green”. We noticed that people pack their lunches in plastic grocery bags and then just throw those bags away. We wanted to give folks an alternative to reuse their lunch bags but still have the flexibility of the grocery bag. They made their lunch bag like the plastic grocery bag, in fact they took a plastic bag apart and actually used it as the pattern in their first prototype. We think these bags are perfect for lunches because you can fill them up and tie them down snugly. You can get so much more in their bags than a brown paper bag or lunchbox. You can also use their bags to hold an infinite number of other things. They are very flexible unlike the bags you can buy in grocery stores and they are prettier.
They not only make lunch bags, they make coordinating sandwich, snack and utensil bags . In addition they make reusable recycle can bags and extra large bags which can be used for laundry or gift sacks. All of their bags are fully wash able and dryable.
