Frogs in the pocket - Mischief!
Finger paintings on the wall - Surprise!
Curious snails and puppy dog tails -
The apples of your eye.

Those muddy little faces
That brighten up a gloomy day,
Faster than those toy cars -
Stealing our hearts away.

Hide 'n seek with car keys,
Wrestling on the kitchen floor,
Just when you think you couldn't -
You love them even more!

Filling your life with sunshine
As little sluggers often will...
A special place in a mother's heart
That only little boys can fill.
